Good Art vs. Bad Art

What makes art Bad? Bad art is like bad taste in clothing or just bad clothing. It just doesn't make or mesh well with anything. The color, texture or way the object is drawn is like bad material. The bad art has no taste, good texture, or cannot be seen clearly. It may also have little to no meaning and be very confusing. Let's just say it's "out of style".

What makes art good? The thought of good art for me is that I appreciate the timeless effort put into the work. Good art is put together, organized and very detailed. The good art has meaning and could be understood by its viewer. Good art is interesting and should make a person "think". Good art could always be looked back on and thought of as good art. This art truly means something to others. "Odette"
